Utthan Sewa Samiti is a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Fatehabad, Haryana, with a profound commitment to driving positive change in the lives of underprivileged communities. Founded in 2004 by Mr. Satbir Singh, the organization’s genesis is rooted in the need to address the socio-economic challenges prevalent in the region.
The platform thus created was finally given a shape of voluntary Organization as Utthan Sewa Samiti in 2004, duly registered under The Haryana Society’s Registration Act 1860 and later on it was also registered under the Section 9(4) of Haryana Registration and Regulation of societies Act 2012 on 27 Dec 2013.
Utthan Sewa Samiti (USS) is an organization dedicated to various social causes aimed at encouraging positive change at the grassroots level. With a strong emphasis on health, education, environmental conservation, rural development, women’s empowerment, and skill-building, our efforts are directed towards creating a more equitable and sustainable society.
Furthermore, USS is dedicated to enhancing professional capabilities through comprehensive training programs, aiming to replicate and expand successful intervention models in areas like child protection, women’s empowerment, environmental conservation, and health initiatives. By equipping professionals with essential skills and knowledge, we aim to effect meaningful change at both policy and grassroots levels.

Message from the Founder
It is with great pride and humility that I share the vision and journey of Utthan Sewa Samiti, an organization committed to uplifting rural and underserved communities across Haryana. Since our founding in 2004, our mission has been clear—to empower individuals through education, healthcare, skill development, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Growing up in this region, I witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by marginalized groups—lack of access to quality education, inadequate healthcare, limited economic opportunities, and social inequalities. These experiences fueled my determination to create an organization that works closely with communities at the grassroots level to bring lasting, positive change.Utthan Sewa Samiti focuses on inclusive development by addressing critical issues such as women’s empowerment, environmental sustainability, water conservation, and youth skill training. We believe that real progress happens when communities are actively involved in their own growth and have the tools to become self-reliant.
I am deeply thankful to our dedicated team of volunteers, staff, partners, and supporters who share this vision and work tirelessly to turn it into reality.
