Utthan Sewa Samiti is committed to improving livelihoods in rural Haryana by creating sustainable economic opportunities and supporting individuals in becoming financially independent. We focus on empowering the most vulnerable, especially women and youth, through skill development, vocational training, and entrepreneurship support.
Our livelihood programs are designed to provide hands-on training in areas such as agriculture, tailoring, food processing, and small-scale manufacturing. We also introduce modern and sustainable farming methods like drip irrigation, hydroponics, and organic cultivation to help farmers increase productivity while conserving resources. These innovations not only enhance income but also ensure environmental sustainability.
For women, we promote the formation and strengthening of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), helping them gain skills, access microfinance, and start their own home-based enterprises. Many women have become successful entrepreneurs and role models within their communities.
Young people are also trained through job-oriented courses and digital literacy programs to prepare them for both employment and self-employment opportunities. Additionally, we assist local producers in accessing markets through capacity building, exhibitions, and online platforms.
By focusing on economic self-reliance and building local capacity, Utthan Sewa Samiti aims to reduce poverty, promote dignity through work, and support long-term social and economic development in rural areas.
